PartnerWork Day

A Day of T'ai Chi Partnerwork.
Starting with the familiar we shall be looking at a variety of partnerwork exercises emphasising the principles of listening, joining, sticking, yielding and softness.
We shall then investigate spirals and figures of eight.
Anyone who has a basic understanding of pushing hands is welcome. Bring a snack and something to share for the break, tea provided.

Weapons Day

Sunday 26th October 2008

1.00pm - 7.00pm

Sabre, Staff and Straight Sword.

Open to T'ai Chi students with no experience of T'ai Chi weapons. For those who are new to this area of T'ai Chi we shall be conducting an introduction to Sabre and Staff. For those who have finished the Sabre form we shall be looking at the Straight Sword form in the latter part of the day. Please bring any spare staffs, bokkens or swords for students new to weapons.

Bring a snack and something to share for the break, tea provided.

Next Aberdeenshire Workshops/Intensives

10th - 17th October 2008, Aberdeenshire. This will be a week long T'ai Chi workshop open to all regardless of experience or style. Some accomodation is available.
